at the Gluten Free Expo!
The Windsor is delighted to bring its iconic Afternoon Tea to this year’s Gluten Free Expo. The grand hotel – which has graced Melbourne since 1883 – has been serving Afternoon Tea for 136 years, the longest-running in the city. Blending tradition with modernity, the hotel is this year proud to debut Pastry Chef Felix Goodwin and a dedicated GF Afternoon Tea, the first hotel to offer a pastry chef focusing exclusively on GF guests.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Felix specialises in GF cakes and desserts, a result of being diagnosed as coeliac in early 2000. Felix has worked at restaurants including Donovans, Saigon Sally and BKK, and was last at Sunda. He now works with The Windsor on their GF offerings, including a series of bespoke celebration cakes which can be viewed at Stand 43.
Served on a beautiful silver three-tiered stand with Noritake crockery, The Windsor’s Afternoon Tea includes The Afternoon Tea is entirely GF, and comes with a selection from 11 specialty teas or coffee.

The Afternoon Tea will be held on the Melbourne Gluten Free Expo floor. A special dedicated area in the centre of the hall will be transformed. The Afternoon Tea will run for one hour, with four sittings throughout each day. Each sitting will be limited to 20 people per sitting. Bookings must be made and paid for in advance via the Buy Tickets payment portal to secure your space. Tickets are $50 per person.
