Tickets terms and conditions

Contact tracing information COVID management

Patrons: We are required to collect data from all patrons as part of the COVID Safe Event Management requirements.

Information to be collected:

  • Full name

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Time checked in

  • Residential address

Conditions of entry, COVID Management:

All patrons attending Gluten Free Expos understand that:

  • Social distancing of 1.5m outside of their household groups must be maintained wherever possible.

  • We expect patrons to regularly wash or sanitise their hands. Hand washing and sanitising stations will be available for patrons throughout the venue.

  • We expect patrons not to mingle.

  • We expect patrons to adhere to entry and exit processes at exhibitor stands and food vendors.

  • We expect patrons to provide us accurate information relating to the details of their group ticket holders and to update information if any tickets are transferred.

  • We encourage patrons to download the COVID Safe App and registration will be required for entry. Patrons without app access will be required to manual supply all details as above.

  • Coeliac Australia* (CA) is required to store details for the purpose of contact tracing for 28 days and provide details to Health Authorities for the purpose of contact tracing if requested.

You should not attend Gluten Free Expo if you are feeling unwell and displaying any COVID like symptoms.

Do not attend Gluten Free Expo if:

  • You have been in close contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19.

  • You are positive for COVID-19.

  • You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the previous 14 days.

 

If you attend Gluten Free Expo and you feel unwell:

First Aid will be onsite with personnel located at the entry. If you feel unwell or appear unwell you will be assessed by our First Aid staff. If First Aid determine that you may have Coronavirus, you and your group will be required to leave. A full refund of tickets will be provided.

If you are unwell and suspect you may have Coronavirus or are waiting for a test result and cannot attend Gluten Free Expo, contact us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after the event and a full refund will be provided. Documentation of the COVID-19 test would be required for this refund.

For your confidence, a deep clean will be performed between the morning and afternoon sessions. Sanitising stations will be provided at the venue.

 

Yes, there will still be food samples on offer to enjoy! Modified sampling procedures will be introduced, however rest assured you will still be able to enjoy the tastes of the Expo with carefully presented, single-portion samples.

 

CA has the right to make any changes to the Event that comply with the latest COVID position by state prior and/or during the Expo.

Ticket sessions

Due to COVID Management requirements, the Expo tickets will be in two sessions per day. With reduced capacity limits, each day will be divided into two half-day sessions (four sessions in total across the weekend).

The sessions for all Expos will be Morning Session: 9.00am – 12.30pm and Afternoon Session: 1.30pm – 5.00pm. A full venue clean down will be done between 12.30pm to 1.30pm and all patrons and exhibitors will be required to leave the venue for the clean down period.

Member tickets

Members will be issued with a ticket that is valid for a specific Gluten Free Expo session (morning or afternoon) on either Saturday or Sunday. Session time and day is to be selected by the member when booking their ticket. These tickets are not transferable and other family member tickets need to be purchased online as they may not be available at the door.

If you fail to book a session time and ticket allocation is exhausted, you forfeit your free ticket offer. Additional ticket offers to regional members are subject to availability.

Booking fees

You will be charged a booking fee by Humanitix and this will be added to the purchase price of your ticket.

Refund policy

In the event of the Expos being cancelled CA will refund 100% of the ticket cost. Please note the booking fee charged by Humanitix is not refundable.

Where the Expo event is cancelled by Coeliac Australia, all tickets and booking fees will be refunded in full. No refunds will be given in respect of any non-attendance. If the Expo event is postponed, all tickets will automatically be valid for the new date and refunds not automatically offered on tickets/fees. 

CA reserves the right to make cancellations, substitutions and alterations to speakers, topics and/or the schedule of the Event at any time. Notice of any changes will be announced on the website www.glutenfreeexpo.com.au and via email communications. Such changes do not constitute a breach of contract by CA and do not trigger any liability. If CA changes the time and/or location of the Event, CA will provide with notice of the changes and will offer attendees the choice of either a refund or the opportunity to attend the Event as varied.

General ticket terms & conditions

CA will collect, store, and handle personal information about attendees in accordance with CA’s Privacy Policy and State and Federal Contact Tracing requirements. CA has the right to contact attendees post the Expo event for the survey purposes.

CA cannot accept liability for advice given or views expressed by any at the Event or in any material provided to attendees by third parties.

By attending the Event you acknowledge that you may enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. You grant CA the right to use your image and likeness for marketing, social communications, and promotional purposes, unless you specifically request removal of the photo or video in writing. This is a condition of entry consent unless advised by the patron and exhibitors in writing as per the above procedure.

Presentations, documentation, materials, and content made available to you as an event attendee are subject to copyright. You may only use the materials and content for your own private non-commercial use. No part of the materials and content covered by copyright should be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, or republished in any form or by any means without the express written permission of CA.

CA Events will often be held at third party venues and premises. All Attendees are required to observe and comply with any safety advice, site signage, alcohol consumption and security requirements of the venue.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CA is not responsible or liable in negligence, contract, tort or otherwise arising if you or any other person incurs, experiences, or suffers an accident, direct or indirect loss including to property or person, damage, fatality, injury, psychological injury, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, or health related issue whatsoever whilst in transit to or from the Event and/or at the Event. You fully and finally release and discharge CA from any liability, claim, action, right or entitlement whatsoever that you have or may have against us whether known or unknown, accrued, contingent or inchoate arising out of, concerning, or relating to the Event.

CA will not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations under the T&Cs to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental, or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of CA, its agents, or employees.
